Present BifrOSt clearly, let visitors understand its Icelandic-first Arch foundation and COSMIC desktop, and direct them to the latest published release, installation safety guidance, source repositories, and a verified cross-repository changelog.

## Positioning

BifrOSt keeps Arch Linux's official kernel, pacman, repositories, and rolling-release model while adding Icelandic defaults, COSMIC, optional developer profiles, original visual identity, and a safety-focused whole-disk installer.

## Operating Context

Visitors compare the live desktop, installer, hardware requirements, release status, and download-verification workflow before writing an ISO to USB and booting on x86_64 UEFI hardware.

- The latest published release is v0.2.0; the 0.2.1 source line is unreleased and must not be presented as downloadable.
- Installation is whole-disk only and erases the selected target. There is no dual-boot or manual partitioning path.
