# AkurAI-Mail — Agent Pointer

Canonical documentation lives in AkurAI Notes and MUST be accessed through the
configured Notes MCP tools.

- AkurAI Tasks: use MCP tools (`mcp__akurai_tasks_work_query`, `mcp__akurai_tasks_work_get`, `mcp__akurai_tasks_task_evidence`, etc.) for work item lookups. NEVER navigate `tasks://` as a hierarchical `read` path — the Tasks MCP server only exposes `tasks://projects` as a flat resource; deeper paths with query strings (`tasks://projects/AkurAI-Mail/tasks?q=...`) always fail.

Read `skill://akurai-mail-semantic` before semantic search, indexing, database,
embedding, reranking, or pi-bun inbox-report work. Use
`~/.local/bin/akurai-mail-index`; never repeat ad-hoc IMAP/database/model
commands. Read `skill://akurai-mail` for raw IMAP/SMTP operations.

When a discovery changes behavior or corrects an instruction, update the
maintained CLI, owning managed skill, and affected Notes records in the same
turn.
